I am going to college and living in the dorms. I need help on how to survive financially.?

Me and my family are not wealthy. My tuition, and room/board are all being covered due to scholarships. So i dont have any loans. But i am worried, i am only going to be able to get a workstudy job. Which means only a few hours a week at 7 dollars an hour. I really have to support myself. Any recommendations on how to save money, have a budget and stay financially fit. I have a checking account with a balance of zero, and a savings account balance of $35. Any tips or suggestions would be a great help. I really want to be successful in college and dont want financial struggles to hold me back. Thanks.
